Will Rogan was born in Highland Park, Illinois in 1975 and now lives and works in Albany, California. He received his MFA from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. Rogan’s work has been featured in solo, two-person and group exhibitions at a variety of venues, including: Mercer Union (Toronto, 2009); Small A Projects (New York, 2009); Misako & Rosen (Tokyo, 2009); Diverse Works (Houston, 2007); Jack Hanley Gallery (Los Angeles, 2005); the CCA Wattis Institute for Contemporary Arts (San Francisco, 2005); the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art; and Yerba Buena Center for the Arts (San Francisco, 2003). He is also the co-editor, with artist John Herschend, of The Thing, a quarterly “periodical in the form of an object”.
In the fall of 2010, Rogan will be showing with his New York gallery, Laurel Gitlen, and the Altman Siegel Gallery in San Francisco.
